MCC Statement and Policy Regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

UPDATED 2/01/2021

McGuire Christian Counseling considers the health and safety of our clients and staff of utmost importance.  In regards to the recent outbreak of COVID-19, McGuire Christian Counseling will be observing and respecting guidelines set forth by the CDC and local and state government and health officials in order to safeguard  the health of our clients and our staff, and to prevent further spreading of this contagious virus.

  • Due to the city-wide masking ordinance, our offices continue to be open by appointment only.

  • In adherence to the City of Springfield's masking ordinance, masks will be required by all staff and clients at all times while present in the building.

  • Our waiting area is currently closed.

  • All  clients will continue to be offered telehealth services to continue their course of therapy, if they prefer to not come into the office.

  • If telehealth is not an option due to internet issues or other obstacles, phone therapy is also available.

  • We are currently accepting new clients. All initial paperwork can be done online to schedule sessions. Please call Lori at 417-866-7773

It is our desire to continue to provide the services our clients need without interruption, especially during this time in our country when many are experiencing exacerbated stress, uncertainty and anxiety. We will be working diligently to continue to provide the best possible services to our clients while also helping to protect the health and safety of our clients and staff.
